Our newest Outreach initiative is a one-time engagement opportunity to experience what God is already doing through our partners in Charlotte.
There will be a new offering monthly with a clergy or staff member!
Loaves and Fishes / Friendship Trays
Friday, April 28th | 9 – 11 a.m. | 648 Griffith Rd., Suite B, Charlotte, 28217
Join Outreach Director, Patty Arcia, to sort, inspect, and/or pack non-perishable food items at the Loaves and Fishes warehouse. Our work will help prepare the food for distribution to our neighbors, through a network of emergency food pantries around Mecklenburg County. Questions or Sign Up
- Volunteers must be 14 or older. Children under 17 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Wear comfortable clothes suitable for the weather.
- Must wear closed toe shoes
- All volunteers must wear a mask or show proof of vaccination.

Crisis Assistance Ministries – Volunteers of all ages and backgrounds support projects and programs that meet families’ basic needs, help our neighbors pursue economic mobility, and engage the community in understanding the impact of poverty in Charlotte-Mecklenburg. Sign Up
Loaves and Fishes | Friendship Trays – Bring food donations to the Welcome Center.
Samaritan House – Provide breakfast, lunch, or dinner for our neighbors in need of a place to recuperate after a hospital stay. Sign Up
Room in the Inn (RITI)
Thursday Nights, December – March
MPPC offers our unsheltered neighbors hospitality and hope by inviting them into our church home, serving two meals, and providing a warm place to sleep in the Outreach Center.
Look for sign-ups in November 2023.
