Great Wolf Lodge

For: Current Middle Schoolers
Dates: December 6-7, 2025 (3pm departure, noon return)
Cost: $175
Where: Concord, NC

Strengthen your faith family through friendship, trust and recreation at Great Wolf Lodge.  We’ll leave from the OC, havea day of fun together, and share prayer and a Bible study on the adventures of God’s people.  Who doesn’t love a water park?!

Cuba

For: Current High School Youth
Dates: December 26-30, 2025
Cost: $1500
Where: Remedios, Cuba
Registration Deadline: September 21, 2025

Visiting Cuba with our partner church in Remedios is like visiting family.  Our brothers and sisters in Cuba welcome us with open arms and we join them in mission and ministry.  The focus is on building relationship and practicing in ministry in a culutre very different from our own.

Requirements: Youth must have at least a year of Spanish or be willing to take 3-4 conversational Spanish classes prior to our trip.

Youth must also have a current passport that does not expire before Summer 2026.

Asheville Youth Mission

For: Current High School Youth
Dates: January 9-11, 2026
Cost: $375
Where: Montreat, NC

Escape to Montreat for a weekend of rest and renewal.  Hike, play and study scripture together.  Start the year with a focus on your core values and a deep understanding of God’s love for you.  Our speaker this year is Bill Buchanan from Youth Mission Co.

Middle School Ski Trip

For: Current Middle School Youth
Dates: January 30-February 1, 2026
Cost: $425, includes lodging, lift tickets and ski rental
Where: Winterplace Ski Resort in Glade Springs, WV

Our Ski Trip encourages the construction of a support network highlighting our similarities and enjoying the recreation we share.  There is time to play on the different slopes and time to reflect and pray as a group, experiencing God’s multuple gifts – including the beatuiful creation around us!  This trip is an excellent opportunity to cultivate faithful friendships and develop spiritual growth.

Camino Pilgrimage

For: Current 9th-12th graders
Dates: June 11-21,2-26
Cost: $4,250
Where: Tui, Portugal to Santiago, Spain

Pilgrims have walked the Camino since the middle ages.  It is an ancient faith practice of slowing down, walking and taking in our world.  There are endless lessons that we learn on this incredible pilgrimage.  We walk 100 miles of 7 days.  Our bags will be transported, so we will walk with only a small backpack each day.  We will have 3 hikes in preperation for this trip and a required class on preparing spiritually.

Space will be limited to 24 youth.  Applications will open on September 7 at 7pm.

CROSS

For: Current 5th – 7th graders
Dates: June 15-18, 2026 – daily from 8am-12:15pm
Cost: $150
Where: Myers Park Presbyterian Church & our ministry partners.  We go offsite every day.

Embark on a journey of mission right here in Charlotte through our church’s CROSS Missions.  This is a half-day program where youth will serve in different mission locations throughout the week.  This is a great opportunity for rising 6th graders to jump into youth next Summer.  It is very different from Mission Kids at VBS, so it’s the perfect step up for our middle school youth.  They will live out their faith in action right in their own backyard.  This is an incredible experience for our youth in middle school and much-loved in previous years.

Montreat Youth Conference

For: Current 8th-12th graders
Dates: July 18-25, 2026
Cost: $950
Where: Montreat, NC

Montreat Youth Conference affirms youth in their calling to be and to shape the church of today and tomorrow.  It is a place where authenticity, community, connections and God’s truth thrive.

Through daily worship, keynote, recreation, and small groups with hundreds of other young people of faith, Montreat helps youth form deep, spiritual, and intentional relationships with God, themselves, and others.  It’s the perfect time for our current 8th graders to prepeare for high school and just as perfect for our graduated seniors to take a week to prepare for college.

Confirmation Immersion

For: Current 7th graders (Class of 2031)
Dates: July 27-31, 2026
Cost: $850
Where: Holston Center, Banner Elk, NC

Confirmation Immersion is Confirmation Camp.  This is designed for youth that would lile to do Confirmation in the summer, instead of through the school year.  Youth will do 12 Confirmation lessons, create some rituals and practices they can incorporate into their daily life, and reflect on their own faith journey.  During the week, we will swim, hike, zip line, play four-square, and other camp activities.

During the year, this group will be their own small group and participate only on 2-3 nights of the regular Confirmation schedule.  They will join the church with the whole class on February 28, 2027.
