MENTAL WELLNESS
Resources & Information
High Schoolers are invited to our monthly Mental Health Check Ins where they learn and practice a tool for hard days and share a meal together. These are the last Wednesday of the month at 7pm in the Cornerstone House. Dinner included! Our first Mental Health Check In of the 2024-2025 school year will be on October 2nd, November 6th, December 4th, January 8th, February 5th, March 5th, April 2nd, and May 7th.
Middle School will learn tools as part of our regular youth group gatherings, taught to us by Mental Health Advocates. These advocates are high schoolers who are specifically trained to teach their peers.
Save the Date for our Mental Health Day on Sunday, March 30, 2025. We’ll be hosting Brian Kuhn who is the Director of the Student Wellness Program for Mental Health America of Eastner Missouri. He’ll be leading a worship Sunday morning for youth & parents together, plus we’ll host an event from 4-6pm with specific meeting spaces for just parents and youth. Look for more details Spring 2025.
