Shuttle Bus Driver

Shift: Every Sunday morning from 9:00 am to approximately 12:00 pm

Salary: $75 per Sunday morning

 

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Shuttle Bus Driver to transport members from various senior living communities to and from church for Sunday worship service.

 

Responsibilities

  • Operate the church’s shuttle bus to pick up and drop off church members from designated senior living communities.
  • Assist senior community members with getting on and off the shuttle bus safely.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of the shuttle bus.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.

 

Requirements

  • Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
  • Experience driving a shuttle bus or similar vehicle preferred.
  • Ability to lift and maneuver mobility devices as needed.
  • Ability to pass a background check

Technical Manager

Myers Park Presbyterian Church, a vibrant and welcoming community of faith, is seeking a talented and passionate individual to join our team as a Technical Manager.  We are seeking someone with a passion for technology and a heart for working in a worship-focused environment.

Role Overview

The Technical Manager is responsible for managing our Audio, Video, and Lighting (AVL) needs campus-wide.  This includes operating and maintaining AVL equipment, troubleshooting issues, supervising AVL staff and volunteers, and collaborating with our worship leaders to enhance the overall worship experience for our congregation.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Oversee and execute AVL and other technical systems during worship services, live streams, funerals, video productions, and other special events.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot AVL equipment across our campus; assist staff with solutions for general AVL issues
  • Recruit, train, and supervise a team of AVL staff and technical volunteers
  • Work closely with the Director of Worship to ensure our AVL systems are optimized, creating an immersive and impactful worship experience for our congregation.

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in audio, video, and lighting equipment and systems, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience, or an equivalent combination of education and practical experience.
  • Experience with presentation software, streaming cloud sites, lighting, and video editing software
  • Experience with audio mixing and video production
  • Ability to setup and troubleshoot AVL equipment before events; dismantle and store equipment post-event.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment

Schedule

Sunday through Thursday, with occasional Saturday coverage for funerals.

Salary

This position is a full-time, exempt position with a salary range of $50,000 to $60,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
