Journey | May 2020
This Eastertide has tapped into God’s resurrection power and the possibilities it brings in ways deeper than I have ever experienced. From worship Easter Sunday, to Millie’s sermon on Acts 1 that challenged us not to to return to the way things used to be, but to look to the horizon for the coming of a new day, we have been reminded of what this power is all about. The power of Easter is not resuscitation, not a return to what was, but resurrection, a transformation into what will be. Even now, that power is at work in and through the church, and even on the church as we are being reformed for these new days.
Times like these require the best of us as disciples, and by God’s grace, we are rising to these demands. Enjoy this online format of Journey as together we explore God’s resurrection power at work in our world.
