SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES

for youth

As disciples of Christ, we are called to love God and our neighbor as ourselves. We respond to God’s steadfast love and grace  by living out our faith with each other, not just talking about it! Through service and outreach with our local and international partners, we join in God’s work of justice and peace in the world. We participate in monthly service projects during youth group, collect items that our partners request throughout the year, and host outreach events for the whole family!

• Habitat Warehouse Day – October 19 8am-12pm.  More information available here.  You must be 16+ to participate. 
• Room in the Inn Snack Bags, November-March | Sign up to make 25 sandwiches for our snack bags.
• Jubilee Shopping, Sunday, November 17, 5-6:30 p.m. | Purchase gifts for Charlotte Family Housing Families.
• Pie Baking Weekend, November 22-23
• Room in the Inn Youth Night, Thursday, January 30 | This is a great opportunity for the whole family! Email Mthomas-bush@myersparkpres.org to sign up.
• Grocery Store Challenge, Sunday, March 16, 5-6:30 p.m.
• Operation Sandwich, Sunday, April 13, 5-6:30 p.m.
