Basketball Scorekeeper

We are seeking Basketball Scorekeepers to assist in our Saturday Basketball League.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Record each time a team scores.
  • Keep time by starting and stopping the clock according to the rules of the game.
  • Maintain the official team rosters of eligible players and substitutions.
  • Review suspension lists and verify the eligibility of each player prior to the beginning of the game.
  • Track the number of penalties or fouls each player receives and alert an official when a player receives his last permissible foul or penalty.
  • Assist in preparing the facility for the game.
  • At the conclusion of a game, clean and return equipment to storage.

Qualifications

We’re seeking candidates who have full knowledge of the rules of basketball, are able to lift 25 lbs, and have reliable transportation.

Schedule

Shifts are available on Saturdays between 8:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. There is flexibility to work a morning or afternoon shift, or an entire shift.

Seasonal Front Desk Assistant

We are looking for a Seasonal Part-Time Front Desk Assistant to work in our Outreach Center through March 7, 2026.

Shift

Tuesday: 5:30 pm – 9:00 pm
Friday: 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Saturday: 8:30 am – 4:30 pm
Sunday: 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm

About the Role

Our Outreach Center welcomes neighbors, volunteers, and community partners daily. We’re seeking a warm, organized Front Desk Assistant to be the first point of contact—greeting visitors, answering calls, and keeping our front-of-house running smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who is people-centered, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-moving, service-focused environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service to members and guests, answering their questions and assisting them with check-ins and equipment.
  • Handle phone calls professionally.
  • Assist with membership and sports applications, ensuring completeness and proper payment.
  • Input membership data into the system as directed.
  • Monitor equipment use and activities in the lounge area.

Qualifications

High school diploma; computer knowledge – Microsoft Office suite, internet.

Middle School Coordinator

We are looking for a passionate and faith-driven individual to join our Youth and their Families ministries as our Middle School Coordinator. This role is ideal for someone who is energetic, self-motivated, and has a heart for nurturing middle school students in a Christ-centered, worship-focused community.

Role Overview

The Middle School Ministry Coordinator nurtures faith formation for youth in grades 6–8, working with staff, volunteers, and families to provide Christ-centered education, fellowship, and spiritual growth opportunities. This role maintains existing programs while also creating new ways for youth to engage in worship, service, and community life.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and lead weekly activities, retreats, mission trips, and special events for middle school youth.
  • Build relationships with students (grades 5–9) and their families through pastoral care, communication, and engagement.
  • Guide youth leadership development and collaborate with adult volunteers.
  • Welcome and connect rising 6th graders and their families into youth ministry.
  • Communicate ministry activities through newsletters, social media, and other channels.
  • Partner with staff and lay leaders to grow a vibrant youth ministry.

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience with youth (church setting preferred), or equivalent combination.
  • Committed follower of Jesus Christ with a heart for discipleship.
  • Knowledge of Presbyterian Church (USA) and Reformed Tradition.
  • Strong relational, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across multiple platforms.

Schedule

The schedule is Sunday through Thursday to support worship services and weekday operations.
