The Thread Project invites you to notice how your life and spiritual journey are connected through memories, relationships, and moments of clarity (and confusion).
You can take part in several ways: respond to weekly reflection prompts, use a deck of conversation cards with friends and family, or explore faith through simple, meaningful questions with children
Discover where God’s been at work in both the big moments and quiet shifts in your life.
Two ways to follow the thread

Weekly Email Prompts
October 5, 2025–September 6, 2026
Sign up at the link below to receive an email prompt on Sunday afternoons. Each week, you’ll get a single question to reflect on and respond to.
Feel free to engage with what resonates or use the space to explore something else that’s come up for you. It’s an opportunity to trace the thread of faith through your story.
By the end, you’ll have a personal record of where God’s shown up in your story, and how those moments shaped you.

Conversation Decks
Available in the Welcome Center in October, 2025
Some of the most meaningful conversations start with a good question. Pick up a deck of good questions meant to spark reflection, laughter, story-sharing, and perhaps an “I hadn’t thought about that in a while” moment.
Use them around the table, on a walk, or whenever you feel like wondering out loud together.
Big ideas don’t always need big words. We’ve included questions for kids and their grown-ups to wonder about God, life, and what really matters.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why are we doing this as a church?
We believe the more we know our own stories, the better we can share what matters about our faith and community. This is a way to notice God at work in our lives and strengthen the threads that connect us to one another.
Do I have to respond to the email every week?
Not at all. Participate as much or as little as makes sense for you. Some people will answer every question, others may choose a handful that feel most meaningful. You’ll find the full list of prompts on this page in case you’d like to catch up (or work ahead).
What happens to my responses at the end?
Your responses from the email prompts will be gathered into a thoughtfully designed booklet and available at the church It’ll be a personal spiritual autobiography you can keep and share.
Will my responses be private?
Mostly. Your responses will only be seen by the Communications staff as we compile your reflections at the end of the process. We will not be reading thoroughly, editing, or sharing any of your reflections.
Can I join late?
Yes. While the Thread Project kicks off on October 5, 2025, it’s designed so you can sign up anytime and begin the following Sunday. You can catch up with previous emails by using the library of prompts on the webpage.
