Throughout the Bible we hear that exile is the human condition. Even when we are at home, we often have the feeling of alienation and a sense of longing. Jesus comes to end this exile and welcomes those wandering in darkness. Where do you feel at exile, even if you are at home? Can your welcoming someone without a place to call home also help you see the way out of exile as well?
I woke up early this morning, unable to sleep with many thoughts on my mind. This video and the meditation were so helpful. It was a great reminder of how God’s love reaches out to all of us through loving those in exile.
