A Holy Mess, November 27 – December 18
During Advent, we often talk about hope, peace, joy, and love. Jesus’s arrival brings all of these, but getting there is messy. Through the Gospel of Matthew, we’ll consider tectonic rearrangements, a complicated genealogy, and uncertain circumstances; the mess through which the Savior is born. His presence is Emmanuel, God with us, amid the mess. God’s presence makes the mess holy, then and now.
