Beginning September 17, 2018

Teachers: Rev. Julie Hester and other clergy      Leader: Lindsay Griffin

Join women ages 20s-50s+ in a weekly Bible study. We’ll renew our faith through lectures and videos, discussion, and small groups. Service and social opportunities will also be offered. Topics will vary throughout the year, led by our clergy, including some Bible, Theology 101, a Confirmation Crash Course for adults, and more. Childcare will be available through the Wellness Center for a small fee. Join us as we grow in fellowship and faith, with friends old and new!  Click here to register for Friends in Faith.

Our first fall study will be Emotionally Healthy Spirituality, led by Rev. Deborah Conner, and based on a book by Peter Scazzero. Scazzero shares two truths: you can’t be spiritually mature while remaining emotionally immature, and unless you slow and quiet your life down for a first-hand relationship with Jesus Christ, little change is possible. The study explores how to identify emotionally unhealthy spirituality, how to grow your soul through grief and loss, and how to develop into an emotionally mature adult. Participants are encouraged to purchase the book at Amazon here. (Other completely optional resources include a workbook with daily connected readings and questions, and a devotional book with daily scripture and prayer suggestions.)

Later studies will include a Confirmation Crash Course for adults, Theology 101, bible study that digs down into a sermon series, and more. Come to as many meetings as you can. We’d love to have you!

Register now and join us as we seek to grow closer to God and one another. Questions? Contact Lindsay Griffin.
