Children will praise God through song, movement, and instrumental music in one of the September through March ensembles listed below. All ensembles contribute to selected worship services throughout the year.
Register your child or check out the Fall 2018 schedule beginning September 12. Parents of participating children are asked to volunteer two or more Wednesday evenings.
First and second-grade choir – Younger elementary school children will learn about God’s grace through songs, games, and in Orff ensembles. Children will learn proper choral singing, beginning note reading skills, and teamwork.
Third through fifth-grade choir – Older elementary school children will learn about God’s grace through more advanced songs, games, and Orff ensemble techniques. Children will develop proper choral singing (unison, canons, and part singing), greater music literacy, and improved rhythmic accuracy.
