A Sunday Evening Dinner Forum
In the CMS system, the one constant seems to be change. Members of Myers Park Presbyterian of yesterday, today and tomorrow will recount their experiences with public schools in Charlotte, of segregation and integration, and benefits and disadvantages that resulted for them and their children. What’s the real difference in quality between schools? Where do property values get impacted? How long will it take teachers and administrators to adjust to new assignment boundaries? When can the faith community engage in the challenges and opportunities, and have a positive influence?
Moderated by Senior Pastor Joe Clifford, the panel discussion will feature Myers Park Presbyterian members Betty and Bill Cowden, Ali and Kelly Hoce, and Ed Baesel. The program will begin at 5 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:15 pm ($10.00, optional). Please register here to attend either the program only, or the program and dinner.
